What time zone will the event be in?
Live sessions will be presented in US Eastern Standard Time (EST). You can adjust the display to a different time zone by clicking the CHANGE link on the Schedule page.

When will I receive my login for the event?
Once you register for the event you can log in immediately using the email you registered with. Visit our attendee login assistance page or see the brief video below for additional information. 




How do I join a session?
Sessions will open 15 minutes prior to their listed start time. Access any presentation on the schedule by clicking the ‘Join Session’ button in the session description.

I want to watch a session again or watch a session I missed. Will sessions be available on-demand?
Sessions are recorded automatically, and the content becomes available as soon as its processed, usually within two hours. 

Can I record sessions for my own use?
No, participant recording of sessions is not permitted.

Do I need to have a Zoom account to watch or participate?
No, you can access all sessions using Zoom's free version, which doesn't require creating an account.

Can I view and participate in the conference from my cellphone?
We recommend against using your cellphone to attend the virtual conference; you will have much better results from a laptop or desktop. 

Can I share my registration details with colleagues?
No, only one person per registration can participate at a time.

REGISTRATION 
 
What exactly is included in my registration?  
CLP 2021 registration includes 6 plenary sessions, over 170 posters, 50 brief oral presentations, and over 40 workshops.  Updates in C-L Psychiatry, featuring nine speakers discussing updates on current C-L topics, it is free to add for members who have registered for the annual meeting. Fundamentals of C-L Psychiatry and a package of 7 Skills Courses are available for an additional cost. 
 
All content is available on this site on-demand for six months post-meeting. If you're not able to attend some or all of the live-streamed content scheduled for Nov 10-12, you can watch it later at your convenience. Recordings of live-streamed sessions are added to this site about 48 hours after the session is concluded. 
  
What registration type should I choose?  

  • Regular: Inclusive of the following registration types:  
    • Member: Anyone who is an ACLP member and does not fit any of the registration types below.  
    • Non-Members: Anyone who is not a member of ACLP and does not fit any of the registration types below.  
    • A member of either the European Association for Psychosomatic Medicine (EAPM) or the UK's Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych). Membership verification is conducted by the ACLP executive office.  
  • Early Career: Any class of attendee who is a member within five years of completing training. Training completion date must be provided during the registration process. Early career non-member should select the Regular registration type.  
  • Trainee: Post-graduate resident or fellow. Proof of status must be uploaded during the registration process.  
  • Medical Student: Currently in training in a medical institution (not resident or medical fellow). Only available to current ACLP Medical Student members.  
  • Allied Healthcare Professional: Nurse/nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, therapists and other non-MD health care professionals. Academy Associate members register under this category. The ACHP field must be completed to register as an Allied Health Care Professional.

When will the on-demand content be available to access? 
The library of on-demand content is available now.
 
What is the policy for people who would like to join ACLP and get the member rate?  
Join the Academy before attempting to register for the meeting. Visit https://members.clpsychiatry.org/become-a-member for details on joining. If you already have an account, you will need to sign-in first. If you do not yet have an account, you will need to create one. Once you've submitted your application, you can proceed to registration and will receive the member rate.  
  
What documentation is needed to support a non-member Trainee registration?  
Please upload the training status on institution letterhead with the expected training completion date, and the name and contact details of your training director during the registration process. If you are unable to do complete this during registration please email the required information to reg@clpsychiatry.org within 10 days of your registration.
  
What is the cancellation/refund policy for the conference?  
Full refund for cancellations received by ACLP no later than October 31, 2021. No refunds are possible after this date.  
  
If you paid by credit card, you can skip contacting ACLP and self-cancel: Log-on to your ACLP profile, then click Purchases > Events > Details, then Cancel Registration. Credit Card refunds are issued immediately after cancellation.  If you don't want to self-cancel or paid for your registration by other means, email your cancellation request to reg@CLpsychiatry.org before the cancellation deadline. Refunds will be issued by check or wire transfer AFTER the meeting in US Dollars. If you do not cancel by the deadline and decide not to attend, you cannot apply your payment to a future ACLP event.  
  
Must every speaker/poster presenter register for the meeting this year?  
No, a speaker/poster presenter only need register if they plan on attending sessions other than their own.  
  
Is there a registration discount for speakers/poster presenters this year? If not, why?  
Since this is a virtual meeting, registration is not required for speakers/poster presenters to present. Speakers/poster presenters wishing to attend the meeting must register at the prevailing registration rate.  
  
What is ACLP's policy on lower-income country discounts?  
ACLP provides registration discounts to residents of lower-income countries, as defined by the World Bank. The sliding scale of discounts is as follows:

Please visit https://members.clpsychiatry.org/my-profile/?tab=events. (If you're not already signed in you will be asked to do so.) Click on Details next to the virtual event and then click Add Sessions. This will take you through the purchasing process.  
  
How do I cancel the Updates in C-L Psychiatry course / Fundamentals of C-L Psychiatry / Skills Course Package from my registration if I'm already registered?  
Please visit https://members.clpsychiatry.org/my-profile/?tab=events. (If you're not already signed in you will be asked to do so.) Click on Details next to the virtual event and then click Cancel Registration. When the system asks if you are sure that you want to cancel your registration, say OK. You will then be taken to a page that allows you to select which particular items from your registration you wish to cancel. Check the box for any item you want to cancel, leave the box unchecked for any item you wish to keep (including the event registration itself). Click Cancel Registration to submit, and then once again confirm. This will save your changes. You will remain on the cancellation page, but any items that you canceled will be grayed out. 
Please note: If you cancel your event registration, all sessions will automatically be canceled, it is not possible to cancel your event registration and keep the sessions.
  
I only want to watch a single session in the program - can I buy only that? Or a one-day pass?  
No single-session or single-day passes are being offered this year. We are proud to offer 6 plenary sessions, over 170 posters, 50 brief oral presentations, and 40 workshops all for the cost of what a single session would regularly cost to attend. We encourage you to browse the schedule, as we're sure you'll find plenty here of interest.  
  
Can I buy only an optional course, like the Updates in C-L Psychiatry course, without registering for the entire meeting?  
The optional courses are sold only in supplement to event registration and cannot be purchased on their own.  
 
EAPM and RCPsych members can register for the meeting at Academy-member pricing. Is the Updates in C-L Psychiatry course included also, as it is for Academy members? 
The Updates in C-L Psychiatry course is complimentary only to current Academy members, as a member benefit. Member-equivalent pricing is provided for EAPM and RCPsych members, but this does not extend to the member benefit of complimentary registration for this course. 

What discount is available for ABPN Diplomates?  
Thanks to a grant from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), ABPN diplomates can register at the discounted ACLP member rate. Please check with ABPN for details on how diplomates can register at Academy member rates.  
 
GENERAL 
 
How can I find attendees to connect with?
The Networking and One-to-One chat feature will be available as a navigation element from your OpenWater program’s website. Clicking on “Network and Chat” will open the chat feature in a new browser tab.
 
Are there virtual exhibitors?  
There are no exhibitors this year.  
  
Can I download recorded sessions for offline viewing?  
No. Slides are downloadable, but the audio sessions must be streamed from the site. 
 
What's happening with SIG meetings this year?  
Most Academy SIGs are planning to hold Zoom meetings this year in proximity to the meeting dates. The schedule of SIG meetings -- which are open to Academy members and non-members -- will be published on the ACLP SIGs page together with directions on how to participate. 
  
SESSIONS/POSTERS 
 
Do all posters have an audio component? How can tell if a poster has an audio component?  
While poster presenters are encouraged to record audio, it is not required, so not all posters will have audio. When browsing the list of posters, those that have audio will have a speaker symbol next to them.  
  
I'm a poster presenter; can I edit my poster abstract? How?  
When you sign into thePoster Harvesterthere is an optional task to edit your poster abstract. Click on that task to make your changes.   
  
Can/how do I withdraw my poster?  
If you need to withdraw your poster, please send an email to holly@clpsychiatry.org, including the poster title, with your request. Your poster will be automatically withdrawn if not uploaded by EOB on Friday, November 8th.  
  
Can I add or remove co-authors for my poster? How?  
You may make author changes up to October 31. Please email your request to Holly at holly@clpsychiatry.org and include your title.  
  
Can I change my poster title?  
Poster title changes are not permitted at any time after acceptance.
  
How do I change the institution/affiliation of my profile?  
When you log in you will have the opportunity to update your profile, including your institution or affiliation. If you need to remove an organization from your profile please contact us at reg@clpsychiatry.org
 
Will my poster be published in the ACLP Journal? Will I get a DOI? 
Yes, this year we will be publishing poster abstracts in the journal; you must opt-in to this. 
  
CME/MOC 
  
How do I access the MOC?  
The link to the online MOC test will be emailed to meeting registrants on October 21st and included in meeting registration confirmations to anyone registering after that date. Please visit the MOC page for full details on this year's test.  
  
How many CME hours can I claim?  
The live-stream component of the meeting on Nov 10-12 has been designated a live activity for physicians AND nurses for a maximum of 12.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits; the on-demand content has been designated enduring material for a maximum of 119 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. You may claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of your participation in these activities. The maximum CME hours that can be claimed is 131.75 hours. The meeting has also been approved Social Work CE credit.

Will there be post-course tests to claim CME credits?  
Post-course tests are not required for CME credits for this meeting.

Can I live chat with other attendees during the live-stream events?  
Yes, during the live-stream events there will be a chat option for all attendees to speak with one another.  
  
How do I submit a question during the live-stream events?  
At the bottom of your screen, in the Zoom menu, click on the Q&A box and enter in your question.
 
I'm not going to be able to attend the live-stream sessions; what can I do? 
If you're not able to attend some or all of the live-streamed content scheduled for Nov 10-12, you can watch it later at your convenience. Recordings of live-streamed sessions are added to this site about 48 hours after the session is concluded and will be available on-demand for six months post-event. 
 
What do I do if my screen freezes when watching a live session?  
Click the Refresh button of your browser. Our event is being distributed from a high-bandwidth provider capable of servicing more than a thousand connections at a time. If freezing or stuttering continues, please check the strength of your internet service access.  
  
I am seeing what looks like an outdated page. What should I do?  
Click the refresh button of your browser. If that does not work, then clear your browser cache and then Refresh. Click here for instructions on how to clear your browser cache.
  
Having a camera or mic problems?  
Please reset or review your browser permissions for your camera and microphone. For example, in Chrome, you can click on the small lock icon to the right of the portal URL to check on these settings.  
  
What if I have other technical problems?
