Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Amedco maintains responsibility for this course. Social Workers completing this course receive 10.75 Live Activity / 113.75 Enduring Material GENERAL continuing education credits.

Satisfactory Completion 

Learners must complete an evaluation form to receive a certificate of completion. Your chosen sessions must be attended in their entirety. Partial credit of individual sessions is not available. If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed below, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for your licensing/certification requirement.

CME hours 

There are up to 83.00 hours of CME credit available for CLP 2021 registration. To this base number of CME credits, the Updates in C-L Psychiatry course adds 4 hours; the Fundamentals of C-L Psychiatry: A Primer adds 4; and the Skills Course Package adds 28 hours. If you register for the meeting and purchase all available add-ons, it is feasible to claim up to 119.00 hours of CME credit.

How to claim CME credits 

You must complete an evaluation for each session for which you're claiming credit. When you generate your CME certificate it will total your CME hours based only on your completed session evaluations. Go to the Evaluation Site here

Is there a deadline? 

Yes. All CME claims must be completed by May 13, 2022.  

Will my access to content stop on May 13th, 2022? 

No. But you must complete your CME claim by this deadline. Thereafter, you can access meeting content but will not be able to claim CME credits. 

Must I watch the live-stream sessions to claim credit for these? 

No, you can watch the recorded versions when they are posted online later. 

Annual Meeting Learning Objectives 

At the end of this meeting, participants will be able to: 

  • Apply findings from outcomes research to clinical care scenarios involving persons with comorbid psychiatric and medical conditions. 

  • Identify ethical imperatives in treating individuals with comorbid medical and psychiatric illness. 

  • Relate various means to improve medical outcomes of patients experiencing chronic and persistent mental illness. 

  • Appraise various models of mental health care integration into primary and specialty care settings.
